RSPSVote ("we", "us", "our") operates the website rspsvote.org — a RuneScape Private Server voting and listing platform. We are not affiliated with Jagex Ltd or the RuneScape brand in any way.

• Account information: Username and email address when you register.
• IP addresses: We record your IP address when you cast a vote to prevent duplicate voting within the 12-hour cooldown period.
• Server listings: Any information you provide when submitting a server (name, description, website, Discord).
• Payment information: If you purchase a subscription or banner, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Session cookies: A secure session cookie is used to keep you logged in.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and maintain the voting platform
• To prevent vote fraud and abuse
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send vote webhook notifications to server owners (Silver plan and above)
• To communicate with you about your account or listings

4. IP Address Retention

IP addresses recorded for vote tracking are retained for a rolling 30-day period and are used solely to enforce the 12-hour voting cooldown. They are not sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe: Payment processing. View their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Server owner webhooks: If you vote for a server, your vote event (without personal data) may be sent to that server's owner via webhook.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is required for the site to function and cannot be disabled if you wish to use account features. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, however no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

RSPSVote is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
